((I'm back. Get over it. :3))
Roy's mind drifted off as he fell into a deep slumber after a long, hard day of work. He had recently been having flashbacks of all of his friends and family who are still here or had passed away. Being stressed all week led him to become tired, so he usually spent his afternoons and nights sleeping.
"Roy..?"
A familiar voice caused him to open his eyes slowly, and sit up. This place was different. Indeed not where he had fallen asleep.
"Roy." Said the voice again. He looked up to lay his onyx eyes on someone who he hadn't seen in, what it seemed like, an eternity.
His heart stopped and his blood ran cold at the sight of Aysu Collins.
"Aysu..?" He said just below a whisper, staring with eyes of disbelief.
"Yes..It's me, Roy." She said at an equally soft tone. Her eyes were filled with compassion, as they had always been. "I'm here to see you."
Tears soon had pricked his eyes. Were they tears of sadness? Joy? Compassion? Maybe it was all three of these emotions. One could never tell with Roy.
"Aysu..I-I've missed you.." In less than a split second, his arms were wrapped around her neck, face buried into her shoulder. "I can't believe it's you..It's really you." She looked surprised, definitely not expecting this from him. "..Roy..Forgive me.."
In an instant, she was gone, all traces of her disappeared. Roy's eyes snapped open, his heart beating and tear stains on his cheeks. "Aysu?" He called out, but only hearing the echo of his own voice. It was a dream..just a dream. Roy wiped his tears away absently, and placed his head in his hands.
But I can't reach you..again.
